Chamboulée

Window view, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 5 July 2010
Never ending Vietnam saga: one battle over. Sad, oh so sad. Life here can be slightly overwhelming. Wishing for some quiet peaceful moments in the sun, laughter with some loved ones.

Lovely S back in Vietnam for her annual food and shopping trip. Feels like being back home in the Philippines, chatting, eating, chilling and laughing. Sweet.

Handsome 9

Nha Trang, Vietnam, February 2010

Funy how people I meet no longer mention football players such as Zidane but instead usually think of Sarkozy when learning that I am French. Though, with the World Cup going on, when leaving the office tonight, the friendly security guard of the parking lot insisted on telling me how sorry he felt for me. Upon asking him why, he answered: Football, Phap, Anelka. Khong sao!

"La grande leçon du désert, c'est encore la patience, l'humilité, la soumission au réel. Bénéfique exercice pour un orgueilleux primate trop tenté de se prendre pour le centre du monde et le roi de la création". Théodore Monod.
